My Story

Growing up, I read every book I could get my hands on. I explored different worlds, cultures and ways of thinking through literature. When I finally read Terry Pratchett I was in love. His characters and Discworld were a revelation. So many possibilities for adventures and lots of fun.

And then one morning I woke up with the perfect characters. Their story unfolded in my mind and gripped me for months. I started writing immediately. My first ever novel has not been published yet but it opened the floodgates.

And out came Myrthe, the egg- shaped planet hurtling through space. I discovered Weinoa and all its wonderful inhabitants: The witches, Hiromi’s Heroes for Hire, Fiellas, the Zombies, and so many more.

An egg-shaped planet hurtles through space. Five continents (as far as we know – Geology has not been invented yet). The two biggest holiday resort islands, Heaven and Hell, are run by Witches. So is Central Weinoa, the largest country on the Weinoan continent.

The Fashion Witch has been winning the Mayoral elections of Stix, Central Weinoa’s capital, for a decade now, maintaining the peace. Now that the Wizards are all gone, the Witches rule the world. At least, the ones who survived…
